Who you will meet
During the reception you will also find a few booths. Come and discover the innovative, high-tech projects these companies are working on, and talk to them about it. Here is who will be there.
ARGONARGON is a Leuven-based technology company that develops measurement-assisted manufacturing solutions for industry worldwide, with a focus on sectors such as energy and defence. It integrates large-volume metrology directly into production processes, often combined with vision systems and AI, to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
Its solutions turn measurement data into information that operators and machines on the shop floor can act on, combining deep application expertise with autonomous and automated inspection. That makes intelligent automation possible where conventional robotics is not practical.
Blue-CBlue-C helps owners of critical infrastructure answer one question: how long will their installations last, and is the right decision to extend, replace or decommission? Power grids, offshore wind farms, ports and industrial sites run on assets that have to last for decades, and as they age every choice becomes a decision worth millions. Blue-C assesses the condition and remaining life of those installations independently, against standards and traceably. Independently, because it carries out no repairs or replacements itself.
That expertise comes together in WattsUp, Blue-C’s own digital platform, developed together with Kapernikov. WattsUp turns measurement data, inspections and technical standards into well-founded lifetime estimates and decision support, from sensor to boardroom. It already runs in ongoing projects on Belgian offshore wind farms in the North Sea.
Blue-C is a young Belgian company of engineers with years of experience in offshore, energy and industrial projects. Its ambition is to move asset owners from reactive maintenance to controlled, value-driven choices over the full life of their infrastructure.
EUnifyEUnify, based in Lierde, builds the electronics that let drones and other unmanned systems fly and think: flight controllers, an AI mission computer and the motor controllers (ESCs). The products are developed and assembled in Belgium on a European supply chain, and professional integrators and drone builders use them under the Gear Up brand.
The innovation is in where a drone’s intelligence is moving. Autonomy is shifting from a separate onboard computer into the flight controller itself, and EUnify wants to build the European answer there: a young company that bets on quality and traceability rather than on the cheapest hardware.
Flanders Business SchoolFlanders Business School is an academic business school focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, strategy and leadership. It brings entrepreneurs, professionals, faculty and organisations together in an open learning environment where academic insight and practical experience strengthen each other. Its programmes, research and company tracks start from real challenges, and participants get room to examine ideas critically, exchange experience and develop new perspectives.
For the school, entrepreneurship means more than starting a company of your own. It is also about taking initiative, spotting opportunities, taking responsibility and creating value inside an existing organisation. That is why it always ties insight and reflection to action, and why it works with its alumni and partners on a community where learning carries on after the programme ends.
InfrabelInfrabel manages the Belgian railway network, and the driving force behind it is its ICT people. Together they develop and run signalling and safety installations, measuring systems along the tracks, drones, fire detection, the software that steers the trains, and a good deal more.
Infrabel comes to Aurora as an employer. Curious what that high-tech world looks like from the inside? Ask at their booth.
NextNext is a Belgian sports drink brand with a clear mission: Fuel for every body. It makes functional drinks that also taste good, for anyone who moves, plays sport or simply leads an active life, with FRSH for hydration and TURBOO! for an extra boost of energy.
The ambition goes further than classic sports nutrition. Next also wants to be there for people with medical limitations or specific dietary needs, from a simple conviction: everyone deserves the right fuel, whatever their level, lifestyle or physical ability. As a young Belgian company, it puts its effort into innovation, product development and commercial growth.
