Your details

This page says what happens to the details you leave for Aurora, and how to get them back or removed.

Who holds your details

TAG and Kapernikov organise Aurora together. We decide together who is invited and who gets a seat, so under the GDPR we are joint controllers of the guest list.

For anything on this page, mail us at aurora26@kapernikov.com.

What we collect

The form asks for your name, your email address and, if you want to give it, your company. It records whether you are coming.

It also records the IP address your submission arrives from. We use that to block automated abuse, nothing else.

Closer to the evening we mail you a personal link and ask for your LinkedIn profile or your own website. That is optional, and we keep whichever of the two you give us.

Why we need it

To manage the guest list and to tell you whether you have a seat. The room holds 300 people, so we have to know who is coming. We mail you a confirmation and the practical details for the evening.

The profile link is there to prepare the evening and to introduce the right people to each other. It stays inside the event team and goes nowhere else.

We process your details because you asked us for a seat.

How long we keep it

We delete the guest list four weeks after the event.

Mail we sent you, and mail you sent us, stays in our mailboxes as ordinary correspondence.

Who else sees it

The event team at TAG and Kapernikov. The list sits on the server that runs this site, at our hosting provider. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Mail us and we will do it.

If you think we handle your details badly, you can complain to the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.
